Print at 100% — “fit to page” rescales the sheet and a 5 mm grid stops being 5 mm. Every template already keeps clear of the margin no printer can reach.

About this habit tracker
Drawn as vector geometry at real-world dimensions, so it prints at exactly the size shown on A4, A5, A3, US Letter, US Legal. Print at 100% rather than “fit to page” — that setting rescales the sheet and the measurements stop being the measurements.
You can change:
- Habits — 4 to 24, 10 by default
- Days — 7 to 31, 31 by default
Free, unwatermarked and yours to use for anything, including in a classroom or in something you sell.
Frequently asked questions
Why 31 days by default?+
So one sheet covers the longest month and therefore every month. The grid is undated, so you write the month at the top and simply stop at 28, 30 or 31 — which is less annoying than discovering your tracker is three columns short in January. Drop it to 7 or 14 if you are running a shorter challenge.
Where do the habit names go?+
In the column down the left, which is sized at up to 50mm — wide enough for a short phrase rather than a single word. It is left blank on purpose: a tracker with the habits already printed on it is somebody else's tracker.
Do 31 columns still fit legibly on A4?+
Yes. At 31 days on a portrait A4 each column is about 4.75mm wide, and the day numbers are sized from the column rather than set to a fixed size, so they come out around 2.6mm tall. That is above the point where a 600dpi laser stops rendering text cleanly, and the print gate fails the build if any future change pushes it below.
