About this lined paper
Drawn as vector geometry at real-world dimensions, so it prints at exactly the size shown on A4, A5, A3, US Letter, US Legal. Print at 100% rather than “fit to page” — that setting rescales the sheet and the measurements stop being the measurements.

Frequently asked questions
What line spacing should I choose?+
8mm is the default and a comfortable middle. For reference, US college ruled is about 7.1mm and wide ruled about 8.7mm, so set 7 or 8.5 to land near either. Younger writers generally need more room, not less — 10 to 12mm is not unusual in a primary classroom.
What is the margin rule?+
The vertical line 20mm in from the left edge that the ruled lines start after, the way a school exercise book is ruled. It is on by default. Turning it off runs every line the full width of the page, which is what you want for a list or for notes you will not be marking.
Can I match the exact ruling my school or workbook uses?+
Usually. Spacing runs from 5mm to 15mm in half-millimetre steps, so measure between two baselines on the sheet you are matching and set that number. Measure across ten lines and divide by ten if you can — it is far more accurate than measuring one gap.
