About this isometric paper
Drawn as vector geometry at real-world dimensions, so it prints at exactly the size shown on A4, A5, A3, US Letter, US Legal. Print at 100% rather than “fit to page” — that setting rescales the sheet and the measurements stop being the measurements.

Frequently asked questions
What is isometric paper actually for?+
Drawing objects in three dimensions without perspective. The diagonals run at 30 degrees from horizontal, which means all three axes are foreshortened equally and a cube drawn on it has edges of equal length. Engineering and technical drawing use it for that reason, and so does a lot of tabletop map-making.
What does triangle side change?+
The spacing of the whole grid — the gap between the vertical lines and, with it, the size of each triangle. 5mm is the default and suits general sketching. Larger sizes give you room to letter inside a face; smaller ones suit dense plans.
Why do the diagonals stop cleanly at the page edge?+
Each diagonal is clipped to the printable area before it is drawn, rather than being drawn long and allowed to run off. Without that, lines would extend into the quarter-inch strip no consumer printer can reach and simply vanish mid-stroke.
