About this lesson plan
Drawn as vector geometry at real-world dimensions, so it prints at exactly the size shown on A4, A5, A3, US Letter, US Legal. Print at 100% rather than “fit to page” — that setting rescales the sheet and the measurements stop being the measurements.
You can change:
- Days — Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday, Seven days
- Periods per day — 3 to 10, 6 by default
- Objectives band — on or off

Frequently asked questions
What is the objectives band at the top?+
A ruled strip across the full width, above the grid, for what the week as a whole is meant to achieve — separate from what happens in any single period. It is on by default and can be turned off if you would rather have the extra room in the grid.
Can I set which days it covers?+
Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday, or all seven. Five is the default. Fewer days means wider columns, so if you teach a five-day week there is no reason to print the extra two and lose the width.
Is there anywhere to put the date?+
There is a Week of rule at the top left, and nothing else is dated. That is deliberate: a term calendar depends on a locale, a hemisphere and a school-year convention, and every one of those is a way to be wrong for a teacher somewhere else. One sheet works for any week you write on it.
